For me, this painting is all about exhaultation. Imagine the most glorious day of warm inviting sunshine and blue skies, soft wisps of clouds invitingly drift by, in the background smoky blue mountains, in front, the visible peaks of many churches, closer to you is the Mexican architecture of San Miguel de Allende, glowing cream turrets topped by the most intense magenta bougainvillea. It's a view that reminds me morning, noon and night to fill with gratitude.
